Rather than chasing the rich, heavily oaked style often associated with Chardonnay, Lukas Krauß focuses on freshness, texture and purity. Chardonnay #2 is generous without becoming heavy, offering a more restrained and gastronomic interpretation of the variety.
Organically farmed fruit is fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts before ageing gently to develop texture while preserving the vibrant fruit. The result is a wine that feels relaxed, authentic and remarkably food-friendly.
Expect ripe pear, yellow apple, citrus peel, toasted almond and subtle lees complexity, all carried by a precise mineral backbone.
